On the back of the G5 clubs, there is a small badge which has the G5 logo on. I've noticed that some have a small USA logo above the G5 and wondered if these were a different spec or just for the US market!

  1. Ping is the ONLY golf brand that manufactures al of its equipment inside USA. All the other brands are some mede in China completly, some are asembled in USA. In 2007 the golf equipment market was hit hard by counterfeit equipment. They all came from China. Ping was the toughest clubs to counterfeit because it was made 100% in the USA, but they did made a couple of low quality clubs in China. Ping decided to play a little bit with the design of the G5 by placing a small USA logo on the back just to make it a little bit more dificult to clone, copy or counterfeit.
