Why do some players do this??

Question

at 15 secs David places the ball on the ground, in a "special position" why doesn't he just throw it down where the ref tells him??

you mean 15-20 lol because they see the ground and are able to see where is best to place it do if on high grass it can make it go to high out. also it makes him look like he knows stuff =P

It may be cause he thinks that where he puts the ball down. He may be able to score.

because he wants to make sure that the ball is not in a divot or bunched-up grass, or other uneven ground.

the grass can get pretty nasty and uneven during the game.  especially when it's raining.
