Why do some songs from thepiratesbay.com not work on itunes?

i downloaded songs from the piratesbay through utorrent, and many of them arent working on anything... i cant open the songs in anyway.. everything looks normal... mp3.. but they dont play, and they dont have artists... what's wrong?

They might be fakes. Happens sometimes when you pirate stuff.

Yeah they are probably fakes. Always read the comment section about a torrent before downloading it. Usually previous downloaders will report fake ones.

You should also do a virus scan, fake files can sometimes carry viruses.
