Why do some straight girls...?

kiss other girls? sorry to those of you who do, but it really gets to me, i hate it when people do things like that and they say it doesn't really mean anything. Well maybe for them it doesn't mean anything, but it happened to me and it meant a lot to me, but you know of course, nothing to the person that kissed me. Emotions aren't toys. Jeez!

I agree.  It sort of cheapens it for lesbians.  That's why guys think lesbians are s**y - like we're trying to get their attention anyways...  Please.

That sucks if you're g*y and your friend does it for attention, moreso if she knows you're g*y.  Don't let her do it again and maybe let her know how it makes you feel (maybe not specifically, but just that you aren't a fan of being used that way).

Anyway, I guess they do it for either attention or experimentation (or experimentation veiled by attention?).  Those straight girls will getcha...

It bothers me too. I think girls are just a lot freer with their sexuality than guys are. They don't really think it's a big deal, but to some people, it is a big deal. Women in general are more affectionate and form very close bonds with other women which probably makes them feel close enough to kiss another women. Though that obviously doesn't hold up to be true in all cases because women who are strangers will kiss too. I think it's just become acceptable in our society for women to kiss other women and have it "mean nothing." But as a L*****n, I don't like it because it makes people think that I'm just going through a phase, or that the reason I'm a L*****n is because a guy "did me wrong" or something. It kind of makes being a L*****n seem like it's a gimmick.

It's some girls personalities to be like that.

It's not a bad thing.

Most girls that do it to each other are straight and know each other is straight so it means nothing.

Does your friend know you like girls?

Or maybe she's just used to doing it to her other friends and doesn't want to leave you out just cuz you're a L*****n.

I think its mostly because they either wanna try it out or because I know theres a lot of guys out there who think it is really hot when girls kiss girls so they want their attention. I, for one, love to kiss girls because I like girls not for the attention.

A lot of heterosexual women do kiss other women, sometimes as a sign of affection, or to attract another guy. Think of that music group T.A.T.U.

They weren't lesbians, they had boyfriends while claiming to be in love with each other which caused them to sell a lot more records. They're not bi, and are most likely not going to date a woman.
