Why do some tacos..?

Question

why do some soft corn tacos served at fast food and sit down restaurants have TWO tortillas per taco? :)

To keep it from falling apart.

Tortillas are often rather delicate once heated and filled with moist ingredients.  If only one tortilla were used, the taco would fall apart and/or the tortilla would tear or disintegrate.  So two tortillas is a kind of insurance that you'll be able to finish the taco without losing the filling.

i would assume the same  ! but actually you get the second for the stuff you loose outta the first also to have a salsa taco besides your original !
