Why do some think Palin is running for President, when it is a McCain & Obama race for that seat?

I can see the writing on the wall, McCain is digging a big ditch.

Do you know what our Vice Presidents are for? They should be capable of being a president in the event if they have to. McCain should have picked someone more qualified and more known, the country is not ready to vote for a woman that was a mayor of a small town in Alaska of all places.

McCain will die soon, so I guess that ditch will come in handy. Palin will be President when McCain croaks.

Palin is upstaging McCain--not Obama.

And if any of Hillary's voters are planning on voting for her, Palin said that Hillary's "whining" was a turn off to her.
