Why do some think of cheating as 'nothing', and others think of cheating as 'everything'?

How I would feel is not what is in question....why some feel one way, and some feel the other is...

Several things have to be considered to answer this:

How do you consider the relationship with your "steady?"  Is this the best and only relationship ever, or is this just one relationship in a long string in your future.

What are YOUR boundaries in your relationship?  Are you allowed to have relations with someone else?  Don't consider your partner right now - just what YOU think of the boundaries.

What is your definition of "cheating?"  Is cheating having coitus with a person of the opposite gender? Is it having any physical contact outside of a "Good Game" pat on the bottom?  What of oral? What of homosexual encounters?  People have different ideas of what "cheating" means - because people have different definitions of what "s*x" is!

Now that you have considered these three questions - ask them as if you are the other person involved in your relationship.  Pretend you are your boyfriend/husband/girlfriend/wife and try to figure out how THEY would answer those questions.

NOW you can see why some consider cheating to be "nothing" and some consider it to be "everything."

Why just the other day my wife said, "Loosey, you've been so sweet and faithful for the last 20 years, I think it's about time you had a little fling."  So I took her up on it.  She's happy, I'm happy.  Sheesh.  As long as you don't bring home any STDs, what is the big problem?  It should make you happy your significant other is broadening his or her horizons.  People can be so stingy and petty somtimes, I swear.

Some people were never taught that when you cheat, it is impossible to be a winner. Especially true when other people find out that you have cheated.

ooo now here's a question we can all sink our teeth into!

I happen to be one who thinks of cheating as everything but here is why, when I love, I give myself totally over! I could not even think of another guy or even look at one!

I am so loyal even to my friendships.

but I have been in three marriages that have been with the ones who say it's no big deal...heartbreak for me.

so thanks for asking this question because after this I am going to ask the next guy your question and save myself some trouble.

some people actually think nothing of it but I will never be one of them

it takes my heart and soul and puts it right on the chopping block for slice and dice

now that hurts! and I would never trust that person with my heart again they do not take it as seriously as I give it, so ?

I liked the pirate movie where Will Turner has to keep his heart in a box and he entrusted it to his woman Elizabeth now that is exactly what it is like for me.

but to find the guy who can be entrusted........:( .........not yet

my question is do they exist?

cheaters have no integrity and are not worth my time.
