  1. use manual removal instructions

  2. Antispyware 2009 (or Antispyware2009) is a rogue antispyware program. Antispyware 2009 is a clone of Antivirus 2008, Antivirus2008, WinX Security Center, DoctorAntivirus2008, VistaAntivirus2008, SystemAntivirus2008, Antivirus2009, Antivirus 2009, Antivirusxp2008, Antivirus xp 2008. Antispyware 2009 was designed to trick users into purchasing the "full" version of Antispyware 2009 application. Usually, Antispyware 2009 can be installed by a Trojan program, through browser security exploits or via other unethical mechanisms. After installation Antispyware 2009 will attempt to scare user into purchasing the commercial version of useless program by displaying fake warning messages claiming that user's computer is infected with dangerous spyware. Do not buy Antispyware 2009 because it does not remove any spyware and is designed only to lure Internet users out of their money.

  3. Sadly they're allowed to do so, unsuspecting people would probably download this rubbish through no fault of their own.

  4. yeah i agree they shouldn't be allowed to do that i saw that the other day as i was reading some thing on yahoo its just not right

  5. Of course -- follow the money.  The AV2009 idiots scam people out of money, it's big business, so they pay advertising sites to advertise it.

Most website owners sign up for advertising syndication, (where some other company collects the ads and supplies them to the website for display, and pays a monthly or per-click fee to the owner)  Website owners often don't bother to check the quality of the ads they are displaying (and its a game of whack-a-mole anyway, as the scam sites change daily)
