Why do some young people look down on older people and treat them like "there is no way you look as cute as I am!"?

Does aging mean you are not as good looking as the younger one? I mean, George Clooney for example is more attractive the Pete Wentz, isn`t he?

  1. the younger generation has no idea that what goes around comes around. they think they can escape old age but they just might be even worse. they may as well enjoy their beauty becuase they'd be a total wreck in the future.

  2. They are not old yet?

  3. It's just another example of younger generations believing they know it all, it's nothing new.  Older people are always gonna be more attractive as a whole package ( looks, experience, intelligence ) than the young.

  4. The truth is, a lot of young people are afraid of getting old.  I've never had to avert my eyes because an elderly person's wrinkles were too ugly to bear.  But young people want to stay in "prime time" forever, so they'll avoid getting to know their elders.  Misunderstandings between generations create feelings of tension, and there you have it - young people looking down on older people and vice versa.
