Why do some youtube videos stop and start? (link)?

I downloaded this ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfWkpJq2uxA

video. and now, if you watch it... it stops and starts alot.

is there any way i can make that stop... cause its really annoying.

my only thought is to upload the video again... would that solve my problem?

on most video cameras you can pause and resume. maybe it might be just a loading problem.

the not bold line is how much has been loaded.

the bold line is how much has been played.

when the lines meet, the video cant continue playing because the rest hasnt been loaded.

Try refreshing the webpage

or...

Turn off web accelerator, if you have one - it may be conflicting with youtube.

or..

It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.

Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.

Or you could watch it offline smoothly... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just  google search "zillatube" to get it.

Buffering! UR computer might be slower than the buffering rate, or U have 2 many applications open what U do is pause the video and U will see another  line play farther than where U are paused. Its kinda hard 2 explain. But, it works!   Dont try 2 stop and start the video over and over again U might just lock up your computer! Also it could be your internet service. If you have dial up it buffers at 56k which is way to slow. DSL starts buffering  at 250k and Broadband starts at 500k.

Yep, that's it.

You have to wait for the video to finish downloading completely before it will play without a hiccup.

When you clisk on something and it starts to play, put it on pause and let the bar fill up then play it. Your computer is probably not loading it fast enough.
