Why do spell checkers always want to correct "endometriosis"?

Am I spelling it wrong? It seems like a common enough medical problem that spell checkers (including Yahoo! answers' spell checker) should recognize it. I've looked it up and everywhere I see the word, it is spelled as endometriosis.

Maybe this disease doesn't matter enough.

Spell checker is only as good as the person who enters the words into its dictionary & apparently they can't spell the word either . . . also I spell it the same way u do & I get hit by the horrid spell checker every time too. Its a common disease & since its a female problem they tend to not look at our problems very well until the men start bitc___g about not getting laid
