Why do sperms smell like Bleach?

Apparently:

"Basic amines such as putrescine, spermine, spermidine and cadaverine are responsible for the smell and flavor of s***n. These alkaline bases counteract the acidic environment of the vaginal canal, and protect DNA inside the sperm from acidic denaturation."

So, s***n smells "bleachy" because it actually contains alkaline compounds which neutralise the acidic vaginal secretions, and help with sperm survival.
