Why do spiders live my car's wing mirror?

Now matter how many times i kill it, it keeps on coming back to haunt me ... so I've named it Charlotte!

  1. Because they like to look their best, don't kill em, they will bring you luck.


  2. There's gotta be a specific genus of those little critters who make their home in wing mirrors and venture out to collect their dinner at 60mph on the dual carriageway....

    You look over and there they are, clinging on for dear life and trying to wrap up a fly... If you could see their lil' faces up close they'd look like those kids from Jim'll Fix It, trying to eat their sandwiches on the roller coaster.

  4. Agreed. I'm currently carrying one around in each mirror as a passenger.  Despite flushing 'em out another always arrives overnight.  I presume the back of the mirror makes an excellent hidey-hole.
