    P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2

    If P1,V1 and T1 are the initial conditions before spraying, the pressure is reduced when the spay is released. If P2 is the final pressure in the spray can, which is less than P1, and V2 is the final volume, which is still equal to V1 because the colume of the can does not change. The temperature of the remaining gas in the can would be;

    T2 = (P2/P1)T1

    Since (P2/P1) is less than 1, T2 is less than T1 Hence there is a reduction in temperature

  3. Anything in a pressurized can will get cold if you spray it for long enough.  It has something to do with the change in pressures.
