Why do such bad things happen to such good people?

when a person is so nice, why do they have to lose a close relative?

Nice people are more exposed to those who are acustomed to abuse of others.

Consequently the lives of good people can be more difficult, or more challenging.

that's like saying if bannanas are yellow, why does rain fall downward? bad things happening is natural, and compeletly unrelated to good people. if you didn't notice, bad things happen to bad people too.

This question can never really be answered, all i can tell you is that each person you will ever talk to will have a different opinion about this.  Some will say it is coincidence, some will say it was God's plan.  It is up to you to decide.

People die. Doesn't matter how good or bad they are. Doesn't matter how good or bad their relatives are either.

Why do bad things happen to good people? Because it helps them to see how to make this world a better place. Because that’s what separates the truly good people from those who only think they are good people. Bad things happen to good people because it is a necessary part of making a good person great.

Everything happens for a reason.

You have to be careful about what you mean by good and bad. I don't know there's anyway to measure such a thing. You might think a particular person is good and I might think he's bad. So, universally there's no definitive definition of these words, hence, your question is trying to make sense of circumstances out of your control. Things that happen have causes or factors, and there you'll find the answer. There's no spiritual answer I'm afraid, at least not in our physical lives.

Its happens to everyone , just because a person is nice in nature doesn't exclude them from a bad event.
