  1. I guess that depends upon your perception of waves.  Malibu gets plenty of them.  Maybe not a lot of high performance waves for short boarding but if you are into really long rights for long boarding then its the spot.

  2. lol, to say they did, basically they carry a board and play in the water a bit, grow out the hair get a few oneil body suits and they are surfers and Malibu is on the resume...

  3. why do surfers surf in florida when there are no waves at coco beach? Kelly slater was born in coco beach, and there were only ankle biters there. Just b/c you surf doesnt mean you have to surf big gnarly waves. any beach is surfable if you try hard enough.

  4. "No waves" is subject to opinion.  Little ankle slappers are great for a longboard.  The next guy might not care to even ride when it's over head at Malibu.  I get a feeling that you're trolling, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Malibu can get great surf.  So good that you can ride a right from way back in Third Point, all the way down to First Point to the pier... but that's only if the conditions are right, and you're actually good.  Not too many people do that daily.  h**l, right now it's considered "flat", but there's longboard-able waves.
