Why do the 'bad guys' get all the cool symbols?

Like, n**i Germany stole that cool swastika thingy, and The USSR( i dont think they're evil) got that cool communist symbol. Its not fair. Lol. It's like in the movies: bad guys get the cool costumes and good guys are normal. -.-
