Because AGW has become an extremely emotional and political issue there are many people telling lies on both sides of the argument.

I find the biggest challenge is to separate the fact from the fiction and all of the hysteria.

One of the best sources of accurate information that I have found is the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) reports.

Well...lie is not exactly a good word,misleading yes. They do have a agenda like a car salesman meeting a quota. For example you could take what Bob says about one average winter and use it as a opposite. That's because it's not one but six, "look at it." So their argument for standardizing goes out the window. As I said; "it's not a lie", but how they want you to perceive it. (Syntax), might be the real problem.

There scarcely needs to be made a better case than this question that the deniers are flat wrong.  Going to mark it interesting, so all can see.

EDIT - Temperatures have not been cooling.  Another unsubstantiated statement that's refuted by the data.

This is just one below average winter, which doesn't mean a thing.  It happened in 1982, 1991-1992, 1999-2000.  EVERY TIME global warming came back stronger than ever.  Proof.

Avg. Earth temps have been cooling for a few years now. If man made items were causing "global warming", temps should be expected to rise rather quickly and dramatically. After all, more man made items are being released daily. So, why such cold winters and lowering avg. temps being reported? Inquiring minds want to know!

Anthropogenic Global Warming is not a lie. Religious fundamentalists who believe in magic simply choose not to acknowledge it. Just like they refuse to believe that fossil fuels are finite and instead choose to believe that God will magically create more oil for us.

Anti-global warming propagandists choose not to acknowledge that they are now paying $4 for a gallon of gas and will be paying at least $5 by 2012. They choose not to acknowledge that garbage in the oceans is detrimental to our health or that smog gives babies cancer. And yes, they choose not to believe that the actions of man's industrial complex have an effect on the atmosphere? Not a big surprise.

Reality is that we need to make all of those changes to help the environment BECAUSE OUR CHILDREN WILL BE GROWING UP IN IT and because we are running out of fossil fuels. Peak Oil is not a lie either. Why do you think you are paying $4.00 for a tank of gas genius?

An individual like this pseudo-Dr. Smith is the most irresponsible kind of superstitious joker. If we listen to ignorant people like this things will go down hill fast. It is because of them that we don't have alternatives to gas gusling cars. It is because of them that we depend so heavily on the middle east.

After awhile ignoring reality hurts EVERYBODY. We can't afford make believe any more. Wake up.

Response: No they haven't. Its roughly 15 to 20 degrees warmer now in all of Alaska and most of Canada (during the winter coldest stages of winter) than it was just 30 years ago. Stop talking out of your a ss. I used to live there and still have relatives there. Land is literally caving in all over the place up north because the tundra and permafrost which has been frozen for thousands and thousands of years IS MELTING now.
