I'm not trying to be racist, especially considering I'm an Asian-American myself. However, I'm Hapa mixed w/Japanese and all the Asians who work at the nail shop in our area are either Chinese or Korean, two languages I obviously don't speak.

Anyhow, whenever I take my daughter or wife to the nail shop, the ladies working there will say a statement in their langauge really loudly as if they are talking to someone, but no one responds.

Another time I was waiting for wife to finish her nails and and one of the workers started talking loudly in another language and seemed to be holding a full conversation, but no one responded.

Why do they do that? Are they bored doing the nails so they're talking aloud to themselves (ie: Man, her feet look awful. I can't wait until I save up enough money to attend university so I can get out of here!)
