many reasons... mainly graham murray.. his a good coach but not super... if u know what i mean.. doesnt get results when it counts..not rated up there with the likes of gus gould, ricky sturt, tim sheens...

really hope either sheens or bellemy get the job next year.

nsw never developed another half back, kimmorly has always been rubbish in my eyes( not as high as the other halfs- orford/gower) mullen wasnt ready(as much as we hope his good, rushed) nsw relied on joey. the likes of gower/orford all should have gotten their chance with aus.. but thurston should never have... remember him playing premier league when anasta @ the dogs..

no class 5/8.. anasta is good but not great.. besides lockyer no other 5/8 even close 2 him. trent barrent was the next best. as ive seen with many nsw sides just not the combinations and.. passion.

the team is great.. not class, not match winners. need coach that can deliver. revolutionise the game in a way.. gus and sturt did.

well what can we do.. it was pretty much the best team unfortunatly. mullen is our only hope in development, so his half. farah gotta come it and make the qld pack work with buderius on at the same time. (mayb pull mullen off) anasta has 2 be there unfortunatly. stewart at fullback as mini just isnt  at his form best yet. about it really...

Qld have the perfect mix of youth and experience. Hunt, Lockyer, Thurston and Smith are the Australian combination and while there forwards go forward they are unstoppable.

Price and Pedro are seasoned campaigners who only know one way and that's forward.

NSW can't get the balance and I blame the selectors for that, not the coach like they all like to do down there.

I mean what's the coach suppose to do if he is not given the cattle, how's he going to get a win out of guys like Jamie Lyon and Braith Anasta.

Then there's the fact all NSW fans and past players stick it into the team when they lose, those past players should shut up when the journo comes ringing looking for a cheap quote or two and instead of whinging, get off their back side and help the team out.

i wouldnt say Mason is useless..queensland usually gain momentum when Mason is out..Mason was sent off by the NSW coach 15 minutes into Game 2 and not long after QLD scored their first try

there where a few bad calls (or non calls) in Game 2 which i think ruined the game

Queenslanders seem to have a different mentality then New South Welshmen. It's like the difference between people from the country and city people. They are a lot tougher and they have that comradory that the blues just don't know how to find.

The selectors need to be sacked. Nsw are selected on name not form. Nsw also dont have any attact. Farra should be in the blues & someone should tell jamie lyons to go back tn england

Many reasons...

1) The talent that queensland have in their backline is some of the best that had ever played the game in Lockyer, Thurston & Inglis.

2) The New South Wales side is now looking a bit old with players like Ryan & Bailey.

3) They have the most useless footballer the world has ever seen in Willie 'The Grub' Mason .

4) They no longer appear as though they are playing for each other, unlike Queensland.

5) They have lost the pride and passion in the Blues jumper that Queensland has managed to get back through Mal Meninga.
