  1. Leave our Monarchy alone...

    God Save The Queen!

  2. Why should we free them, we pay them plenty!

  3. british tradition its bin going for hundreds of years

  4. You haven't a clue , have you. Royalty has absolutely no say in the running of the country, this is left to the government.

The vast majority of British people are proud of the fact that Britain is a Monarchy, and wish it to remain so. Add to this the income that royalty generates through tourism, (a great deal of which comes from America), and you may begin to understand why most people are in favour of 'The Royal Family'.

  5. we love our queen...!!! not to keen on her offspring though.

  6. It's not really a dictatorship. And the majority of the British seem to be content, I believe, with their Royalty system.

  7. There is democracy. The Crown has no real role in government. All the monarch does is sign laws into being. In any case, no monarch has really exercised their powers since 1608: a long time before America became independant.

  8. Far better than another politician with his or her feet in the trough.

  9. Because if any of our recent Prime Ministers tried to make themselves president of this country,  we would have a civil war.  (maybe drag the politicians into a ditch by their long ears and pass a cord around their necks and string them up to a lamp post)  Come to think of it ...  might not be such a bad idea.
