Many football fans are like that, of course. But Cowboys fans seem to be excessively so. There must be some reason their beloved team got beat ... and it couldn't be because the other team was better, could it?

I wouldn't know but I'd blame Romo. I think he is a point shaver! Every game he plays in the playoffs he is the reason they lose. Drops the ball for a field goal, throws an interception, what's next this year?

its not just the cowboys or their fans. everybody blames somebody. a perfect example is tonight in womens gymnastics one of our(the us gymnast) made 3 mistakes total and the anouncers blamed her right away for us not winning the gold. when you loose a team sport its always somebodys fault and somebody does have to take the blame wheter its a coach player or member of managment thats just the way it is. you cant blame the whole team. but anyway everybody makes mistakes and its part of everysport so im not blaming anyone who ever screwed up in sports. i

im a die hard cowboy fan btw, and as most cowboys fans i blamed jessica simpson for the loss.

Sorry Elkgond1 I read it but I guess I missed something all I saw was what we didn't do right (players) wow if I had not seem your avatar name would not have oh well maybe you are right Cleveland will stomp a mud hole in their derriere. But the Cowboys fans won't be upset as its practice for the draftees and rookies, half of them will not be there at the start of the season. I don't mind Dallas lost Pats lost Colts lost. I don't think these teams will not do well in the real games because of their starters not playing a full game in practice. When you were once a dynasty and now you have trouble making the playoffs it has to be someone's fault other than the players!  I think a good place to start would be Jerry Jones keeping his a** in the owner's box and stay off the field.  Last time I checked, Wade Phillips was head coach.

they always act like they will go 16-0 every season  

all they do is talk about some rings they won back in the 70's and early  90's when they have not  won ONE single post season game in 12 long years

(and they act like they are the only team that has won 5 the are one of THREE teams that do and they have the worst winnig percentage in the superbowl of all 3 teams)

Wow, you people kill me.  Jealousy if the highest form of flattery.  I am not a Cowboys fan, but 5 super bowls speaks for itself.  Yes they have not won a playoff game in 12 years or so, however all but three (3) years no one claimed to be any good.  Making the playoffs in 04 was an accident throw that out the window.  Three words Colts, Colts, Colts  they lost many times before winning a playoff game no one argued their greatness.  The whole basis for your argument is a pre season game are you kidding?  Wait till week 10 when they are maybe 8-2, probably 9-1 or 10-0.  I wish the rest of the fan nation would finally give the Cowboys credit for building what looks to be the best team in the NFL barring injury.

And Cleveland will be lucky if they can hold Dallas to less then 40 points. Anderson is a one hit wonder...
