  1. Jack Kennedy was a Congressmen for 6 years and then a senator for 8 years! Not a gd MAYOR of a rink a dink 8,500 pop town in Alaska!

  2. They are not using a double standard......they have no standards at all!

  3. That's all they have against her.  However, as Chief Executive of the largest state in the union and with the huge amount of oil and gas, she is very knowledgeable about foreign oil.  Heard her in an MSNBC interview talking about Alaska's oil and she's no dummy when it comes to knowing about foreign oil.  Seems oil is one of the most important issues facing us since it impacts our national security.

  4. Because they have been listening  to  neocons say Obama has no experience and then McCain actually picks one with even less experience.

    That's why.

  5. Well what I thought was really stupid for someone to say, was she's from Alaska & it's near Russia so that means she knows foreign policy.  Said by Steve Doocey on Fox news

  6. What they are using are no standards. That is the difference between Obama bin Biden and McCain/Palin. McCain/Palin have values, morals and the best interest of the voters at heart. I think the country will fall in love with Palin when they get to know her. She seems to have the Balls Obama bin Biden lack.

  7. Yet, she is running for the VP slot not the President like Obama.

  8. Because that's the only thing they can think of to attack on at the moment.  Although they seem to be floating the "bad mom" for running instead of staying home with the children theme.

You know, it's interesting.  The line seems to be that Obama doesn't need foreign policy experience because he has Biden, but Palin needs experience because she will be a "heartbeat away".  I wonder how long until someone in the McCain camp will point out that should the need arise, she could always pick a VP with foreign policy experience.  Just like Obama did.

  9. Difference is all of those guys you mentioned had a good record for thinking. Palin doesn't.

  10. Because they have NOTHING else to attack her on!  And because they want to prop up their guy's only PERCEIVED strength (except it's a minus as evidenced by Biden saying the surge would clearly not work - whoops)!

    Peace

  11. Gaging the swift Moveon.org posts on Y/A.....the selection hit a chord....and they are worried...

  12. Because she has none??

  13. Yes  but  McCain attack on Obama   for lacking experience and the pick Palin is also using a double standard. If you look at the Presidents since WWII only Eisenhower  really had the experience needed to conduct foreign policy. That is why they have  advisers and the secretary of state. In our system we pick our presidents because we like them or because we agree with them on a few issues not because they are competent, and sometime we pay a heavy price for our decisions.

  14. well of course, that is why I left that party. Obama's choice of VP shows all the talk is just that, talk. McCain & Palin represent what Obama has been talking about. I will take executive experience over legislative any day. Executive takes quick thinking to make decisions, not months of creating a committee then mulling over the findings & maybe, just maybe 2yrs later you can get something done. She is just as ready as Obama, maybe more so.

  15. ..and how did Obama himself have the nerve to attack her too?

McCain is chomping at the bit to have a discussion about inexperience and Obama took the bait.

  16. They are hypocrites.

Lets face it, they have nothing to work with on Obama. His entire career in the Senate has been a failure. For all his talk of change, he has done nothing to promote change in Washington.

They have nope hope of undercutting McCain's experience, McCain is infinitely more experienced than Obama. Everyone knows that.

That tried to attack McCain's age, it failed. They tried to attack his wife's money, it failed.

Now they are left with attacking a potential VP who has more accomplishments than Obama. Palin, who has fought against corruption and the status quo.
