The English press were after Wasim and Waqar when Pakistan toured England in 1992 .Their 'out of this world' skill of reverse swing was labelled as ball tampering. The Australian press attacked Harbhajan Singh virtually every day India played .

It was great to see M S Dhoni lift the CB Series Trophy.

  1. perhaps its their hobby

  2. Coz they can't digest the fact when they are outperformed by players from an 'inferior' race.

  3. It may be cruel, but it is a fact. You know, the British ruled India and Pakistan once. They dont like to see the players from these countries  to perform well .  Australian ,the followers of England will always join with them whenever any opportunity comes.

  4. dnt mind this is their formal habit.

  5. its the tradition~

    lol

  6. its normal, you have loads of critics when someone is a rising star, similarly India's rising status goes undigested in foreign media who actually project the thought of their people, it arises due to feeling of loss of control over things !

There is a fair chance that Dhoni will conquer idea trophy also after CB trophy !

  7. You mention a report from 16 years ago, do you honestly think that their has never been adverse comments on the English or the Aussies in any of the sub continent press?

    Just lose the chip.......

  8. Waquar was on a talk show on Neo Sports (?) recently. He stated that his bowling was never a Q when he played County Matches. But was, when he played for Pakistan.

    That should answer your Q.

It will be as great to see Dhoni pick this Idea Trophy.
