Why do the Pirates only play good when I bet against them?

I took the Houston AS stros today thinking they would not lose 4 in a row and they were at home. The pirates beat them 8-7 and I'm down a lot of money! I'm 0-6 betting against the pirates this year. They do S UCK don't they? What is going on here?

I had this same problem so I started making my picks and then reversing all of them and now I am hot hot hot

Yes, the Pirates suck...but even teams that suck go on hot streaks. If you happen to have bet against them during the hot streak...you lose. Given their unpredictability maybe you should find a new team to bet against - I recommend Seattle.

To minimize your disappointment, always bet against your favorite team.  Then, if they win you're happy that they won and if they lose, you're happy that you got some money out of it.

OK Mr Rose, you should really check the stats. The Astros are 3-8 (I believe) against the pirates this season, and last year was just as bad. You should really check this stuff out before you bet...but what do i know, youve been doing this a while!

They will be playing the Cubs again soon! Wait till then to bet against them. Or...if you bet EVERY SINGLE GAME, you will have to win overall since odds are they will lose more than they win.
