Why do the Sunnis and Shias break fast at different time during Ramadan ?

shias pray maghrib later than sunnis.

its maghrib for sunnis as soon as its sunset, but for shias it is after the reddish light is gone and is a bit more darker than sunset time.  Almost same time, but not the same moment.  

According to sunnis, prayer should be done before the reddish color goes away....so according to that, shias are doing wrong becuz they are intentionally delaying the prayer everytime.  

since i am not a shia, i don't know the proof for why they do this, but i know they do this becuz i know some shia ppl.

The fast is ended when the sun sets. And, as we all know, the sun sets at different times in different countries:

Sahih Muslim, Book 006, Hadith Number 2421.

'Umar (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: When the night approaches and the day retreats and the sun sinks down, then the observer of the fast should break it. Ibn Numair made no mention of the word "then".

Shia believe that hadith cannot contradict the Qur'an. So Shia breakfast when the sky goes dark because that is what the Qur'an says. Sunnis believe hadith can counter the Qur'an, so they break fast according to how various hadith say to.
