  1. You are obviously referring to the videos that peta promotes. There is no fear or pain for the doe that I annually zap at 100 yards to fill my freezer.

  2. Because they are vertebrates and feel pain the same way we do. They also have survival instincts and can sense danger which makes them fearful the same way we do.

  3. Gee, PETA is such a great and open minded organization. If you are referring to their slaughter house videos, the animals have no clue what their "purpose in life" is as far as feeding us terrible "meat eaters" but they do react much as you would if the tables were turned.

Does that bother me? Not friggin much! Just had a really good beef stew dinner and plan to have more later on!

  4. I've seen much worst videos (than peta) of animal slaughter & human beheading. Nevertheless the real-life slaughtering that i've seen was MUCH WORSER (trust me) than what you've seen in peta. You're not capable to witness neither slaughter any beings, and obviously you know that is horrifying. We only could voice out for "them" from distance.

  5. Probably because animals are sentient creatures. They feel pain and can tell when others of their same kind are frightened - very much like humans.

How would YOU feel if you were in a long line being zapped with an electrically charged prod only to meet your demise AFTER seeing numerous ones go before you?I don't think you'd be running to the front of the line now, would you?

  6. Going by the other answers this is apparently a reference to a PETA video. Don't much care for PETA personally so I didn't get it! Sorry if my answer is lacking as a result :)

Why do animals display fear and pain when confined, tortured and killed?

For the same reason you would under similar circumstances: they are scared and in pain!

  7. That is just the circle of life despite what PETA wants you to believe,
