When I charge all of my laptops their boxes that are in the middle of the power cords get really hot. But if I were to leave it plugged up and not have them connected to the laptops they remain cool. Is there a reason for this?

  1. Hi

The reason they get hot is because that is the charger that charges your internal battery in your laptop.

  2. its a battery, and so it is a chemical, and when chemicals become active they tend to get hot, or at least, moderately warm.

if you dont like this, then you may be able to have a fan installed, i say may because im not sure what you have

  3. power to charge your laptops battery is serging threw the box and is stored there to slowly seep out to the battery so it is not to over power the cord and battery.
