  1. Sabritas are made by the Mexican division of Frito-Lay. They have a bigger and better variety in Mexico because Mexicans have a more diverse taste in snack foods. Americans eat very bland, crappy tasting chips.

Also, most of the other foods in Mexico are better. The beverages, and even the Coca-Cola all taste better and there are so many more choices. Fresh fruits and veggies are everywhere and food is much cheaper here.

BTW gasoline is about $2.40 a gallon. And a public bus is $.30 cents.

  2. I know what you're talking about!

Honestly, I think it is because in Mexico there are a lot more individualy owned stores. Therefore, the owners are willing to pay for more variety in products. And that benefits big companies. The more they produce, the more appeal to the people, the more people will buy, and the more money they will make.

Here, there's about 3 grocery stores within a certain area.

In Mexico there's one or two stores on every block!

Now the taste is better because they use more natural ingredients. One because they are cheaper and two, big companies in the US worry more about quantity than quality. They don't want to spend an obscene amount of time on a certain product. They just want to get it out to the market quick.
