Why do the communist cities like San Fransisco ban plastic shopping bags, yet hand out free condoms like M&Ms?

Isn't this hypocracy?

The city of San Fran-Sicko goes through more condoms in an hour than plastic trashbags in a week !

And condoms are even less biodegradeable.

Well, they are trying to stop the spread of diseases and to stop unwanted pregnacies, which lead to children without good parents.  It's a moral thing, and sometimes that does need to go before the environment.  Anyway, slowing population growth helps the environment more than a few condoms thrown out hurts it.  Think how much more the person that would be born would litter in their lifetime than that one piece of latex.   And think of the huge land footprint every American uses  (It's like 25 square miles per person or something rediculous like that).  In the end, it's worth it.

shopping bags are really bad for the environment.

condoms may also be bad (I don't know), but they hand them out so that people can get protection and avoid having unwanted babies/abortions/STDs. I really don't see what's wrong in free condoms. Would you rather them get an abortion/STD?

Good grief...... because shopping bags do not help to stop the spread of sexual disease and condoms can also help to keep down the birth rate and therefore less shopping bags will be required.....

   How this makes them communist I have no idea. And why you include an insane comment re the use of condoms in an hour compared to bags in a week I have no idea.
