I am asking because I bought a buch of coca cola products from a collector that collected cokes from all over the world. I was looking at the ingredients and found that they vary a good bit...especially those made in or for the Middle East.

  1. The ingredients for coke will be different dependent on:

    1. What resources are available

    2. Local Taste preferences

They actually do allow the "formula" to differe slightly in different regions based on the taste preferences of those reasons. More often however, it is because of the resources available. Clearly, different countries have different resources- in the US, frequently corn syrup is cheaper and more abundant than sugar cane- however, sugar cane is cheaper and more abundent in South America- so in South America you see Suger Cane and in the US you see high fructose corn syrup- the same things can happen in other ingredients, especially when combined with customization for local preferences!

    Hope that helps!

  2. IDK

but I know coke in the UK sucks lol
