  1. From what i've heard its just to stay warm between their dives

  2. to keep loose

  3. if ur get out from the pool, the water on your body evaporates leaving your body cold. it will cause your muscle to tense up. it's not good a good thing for a diver.

so they have to take a shower or sit in a small pool to keep their body warm.

  4. To keep the muscles warm & loose during competition.

  5. Why do divers have to keep their muscles loose?!?!?  Do they even use them?

  7. To get the chlorine off their skin and hair possibly.  Chlorine is hard on the skin and hair.  The small pool is probably a whirlpool to relax their muscles for the next dive.  These are guesses.  I am not sure.

  8. They shower to rinse off the chlorine. If you've ever been to a public pool, you'll notice that if you don't rinse off the chlorine after being in the pool, your body will start to feel itchy and stink.

They jump into the hot tubs because the heat relaxes their muscles. Many athletes do this to relieve muscle stress.
