Delusional is the only word that can describe it. If you ask them about the subject they will respond with lines like"The Giant were lucky." or "We were the first team to go 16-0". All that being said on the Super Bowl IIXL trophy the Giants name rest.

P.S. Reading the answers I missed one of my favorites "If they played the game 100 times we would beat the Giants 99 times." Too bad again, the Super Bowl is a one game affair if you don't bring your "A" game -you are the loser.

Patriots fans tend to be some of the worst fans in NFL.  I've seen them put down other teams moreso than other fans.  They are bad losers.  And they don't even support their own team when they lose.  I remember the year they went 10-6 and didn't make the play-offs.  They started booing their own team on several occasions.  And when they are losing a game a large portion of their fans will start leaving the game.

I remember the Patriots players whining and complaining about how their fans were booing them that 10-6 season.  And I thought to myself, you guys deserve it.  With the way you and Belichek bad mouth other teams you deserve to get back what you say about other teams.

Thank goodness the Giants beat the Patriots last year.  All of the other NFL teams never would have heard the end of it.  They'd still be bragging 50 years from now even if they had a team as bad as Miami had last year.

I don't mind a team winning a lot as long as they are good sportsmen.  New England typifies all of the things a bad sportsman does.  That's why it never surprised me that Belichek had the opposing signals taped.  He's super ultra competitive and a bad sportsman.

Why do you Patriot haters think that a team that was 36 seconds away from being 19-0 is going to have a horrible season after only losing 1 valuable player, and then completly improving their LB core?

develishblueeyes., when the Patriots went 10-6 in '05 they did make the playoffs and got the the divional round, and no one booed them for that.   So stop talking about things that you have no clue about.

It's not that they think they won the Super Bowl. It's that they are still  the best team around and they know it. That game was a fluke, they could play that game 100 times and the Pats would win at least 95 of them. I'm a lifelong Jaguar fan and don't have a second favorite team, but I can see they are the best.
