Why do the people at Dunkin Donuts purposely steal my money and charge me full price when things are on sale?

My Dunkin Donuts is famous for stealing money from people. They're all Indian workers and they purposely do it because they know you can't understand them well enough to fight with them.

So I saw on TV that a medium iced coffee or iced tea was 99 cents. So I went twice and they charged me full price both times, even though there are 99 cent signs all over the place!! I've tried to reason with them but they won't budge on it. Does anybody have any idea why I'm being charged full price even though they have that promotion going on? Is anybody else being charged full price as well?

You could always refuse to pay full price, give them a dollar and point to one of the promotional signs.  You could also quit going to that establishment if they are cheating you.

Here's the plan...find someone from India..make friends with them and next time you go in the store see if the friend from India can get the discount. I'm interested to know what will happen or you could just switch to Krispy kreme. Thats really rude of those ppl at DD. Could try learning a bit of indian language just to kinda look like u kno what they are saying..just enough to get it through their heads you mean business. If this DD franchise was not participating w/ the 99 cents ordeal then why post advertisement then? False advertisement i'd say..

It might be that only a certain size is on sale, not the size you are ordering.  Ask them questions if you don't understand things.  You don't have to pay the inflated price.  Don't leave until you get the price you deserve.  If they won't give it to you, then leave.  I'm pretty sure you can get an iced coffee somewhere else.  The key is to stop giving them your business.  Or just ask to speak with the manager.

IF you paid full price for an item on sale, YOU were foolish. You can't blame them for your shortcomings.

Why do you keep going back then? Its your own fault you are paying full price. If you want to keep going, say something to them next time. Legally, they have to give it to you at the advertised price
