  1. Probably just a little behind the times. I think that you will find the "modern generation",i.e,  22 year olds and younger are more teeth conscious. Prior to that they just smiled with lips closed, no big tooth revealing laughs or grins, ha ha ha .


  2. my dad is from the UK. It's not that they don't have dentists there it's that they really don't care about that part of their physical appearance. They do brush their teeth, and floss, but the idea of spending three grand on metal in your mouth seems pretty crazy over there (when i got braces my dad flipped at the price).

    if your thinking of Austin Powers, people in england aren't really like that. it's a stereotype.
