  1. Because, He's winning.

Dale Sr., D.W., Richard Petty and, Jeff Gordon, have all been through the same thing.

not bad company, I would say.

  2. everyone has their faves and those they love to hate, thats just part of it all

  3. Jr. fans don't like him because of what happened at Richmond earlier this year.  Fans of other drivers don't like him because he's winning a lot.

There are some fans who don't like his arrogant attitude though.

  4. Well, #1, they are still upset from the time he knocked Jr out of the race- like it's never happened to anyone before. But you know Jr Nation.

People think he's too young, a punk, arrogant, too good for everyone, no respect for the veterans, bumps too much, won't allow anyone any room.... a list of reasons.

All I know is, the boy can race! I don't care if he's a yellow frog that hates Mom and apple pie. If he can bring a car to the front almost any week, that's good enough for me!

  5. Cuz his last name doesn't end with "earnhardt Jr."

  6. Jealousy is the answer, any one that wins a lot gets ridiculed !He is a great driver and with age he will be liked more just like his big brother.

  7. Partly jealousy. Partly his aggressive style, Dale Earnhardt was hated by many people for driving the same way. Now a lot of people have forgotten Dale's reckless style, no doubt after a few years and a few championships Kyle will also be more liked.

  8. Hey I never said I wouldn't have lunch with the man. But when it comes to racing, be it grocery carts, remote control boats, bumper cars, whatever, he'd better watch out cause I will put him in the wall.

People will say that Kyle Busch is good but that Warren kid he is just plain mean!!!!   ROFLMAO!!!!!!

Maybe people dislike Kyle for the same reason they did/do Jr and Jeff and Jimmie or any other driver out there.

  9. Because he is smug

    Never his fault

And no matter what he complains

I used to not like Juan, but he noticed theres 42 others and it takes a team. Im content with him now.

  10. He is a disrespectful big eared punk who has no business out on the track and should be wrecked is probably code for "he's too d**n good and beating my favorite every week."

Bascially jealousy, but once you start disliking someone so much, no matter what they do to redeem themself they'll probably still be hated, even if people don't know why they didn't like him in the first place. He gets grouped in as being "one of the Busch brothers" the same way Jr. gets grouped in as being "the son of a legend," so that's where many of his boo's came from, and the Richmond thing didn't help the cause with a lot of people.

I like the way he drives and it's about time someone is aggressive and not just out there to get points. Kyle's out there to win, which equates to more points, but when he loses, sometimes it's by a lot, because he goes all out every race. I believe he is the youngest driver ever to get 12 wins at only age 23, and there's still about 14 races to go! If people don't like him now, they really won't in 5-10 years when he hits his prime and is stealing even more wins from the competition. I didn't expect him to have this many wins for the entire season. I was thinking maybe 5 or 6 after the way the first couple of races went, but he's been on a tear all season. Everyone said/hoped it would end by now, that it was just luck, but just when you think he's down (those huge 2 race slumps he gets on from time to time), he fires back with a couple more wins. He's got the talent and now has a great team behind him.

All 4 road course races he's been in this season  I was nervous watching him and with how hard he drives every lap I was almost expecting him to make a mistake each time, yet he proved that he can be patient and win on any type of track on the schedule. That's what it takes to win championships and he's a complete driver, the best one to come along in a long time. It seems like after every win Steve Addington can't believe it either he just says "he's an awesome driver," and it's paid off.

There are a lot of reasons to not like him for most people, but no matter where people stand, he's still fun to watch and not afraid to make crazy moves in the car that people say can't be done.

  11. That's a loaded question, as I'm sure you realize.

Speaking only for myself, Kyle took over my favorite driver's ride.  I didn't feel that he was worthy, and he did nothing to change my opinion while he was in the # 5 car.

I don't know why he was not as successful at Hendrick as he is at JGR.  Some say it's because the 5 is and always has been a R & D car.  If that's true, Terry Labonte must be a heckuva driver to win a championship in a R & D car.  :  )

Here's my question to you:  Why does it bother you and so many of his fans that people don't like him?  He doesn't seem to mind - in fact, he seems to encourage it and thrive on it.

  12. Near as I can tell in reading other people's posts, it has alot to do with the fact that they think he's arrogant, cocky and disrespectful, overly aggressive, and he doesn't take responsibility when he is at fault, he has big ears, he wears ugly sunglasses, he's Kurt's brother,

what am I forgetting? Oh yeah, he drives a Toyota!

I disagree with all of the above, except the fact that he's Kurt's brother, and drives a Toyota. Obviously, or he wouldn't be my favorite driver.

If I'm forgetting anything, I'm sure others will chime in..

  13. I think it's because people perceive him to be arrogant and cocky ! In Nascar ego's are supposed to be kept in check and when a driver like Kyle Busch comes along, he ruffles the feathers of the nascar establishment.

People always and still do hate Jeff Gordon because early on he was dominant.

Bottom line Busch can flat out drive a race car and his skill and talent is proving that. Same with Gordon although he isn't having the best year this year he's still in the top 10 in points and his car hasn't been anywhere near what it should be but Gordon gets more out of a bad set up than most get with a good set up.

  14. Every time I look at him I see Pee Wee Herman in a racing suit...it creeps me out.

Just don't care for him as an individual, but he definitely has proven himself on the track. But I am not jealous of him or his fans. It's their year. I think for me it's his attitude and the feeling I'm watching a bad Saturday morning show from the 80's. Just an opinion...don't hate me 18 fans.
