  2. Actually most of the populations in those countries are Mestizo, and not totally native. Although if you think about it, Mestizo are technically Native to the Americas because they didn't even exist until the mixing of the Indigenous and the Spanish/Portuguese.The Spanish (Southern Europeans) came and mixed with the Native Peoples creating the Mestizo peoples in Latin America. Mestizos generally blend into the native population in those countries mentioned because the natives in those countries weren't as killed off, and the population contains more Indigenous blood that Europeans or even mestizo blood. All over Latin America, save Argentina and Chile maybe, purely Indigenous peoples still have a significant population because even though their ancestors were killed off, they were also sent to live outside of society because society had no want for them.
