Why do the sabres keep...?

drafting these small players. they started of well by picking Tyler Myers(6'7''). then they went and got Tyler Ennis(small).

we dont need more small players we have enough. we have Roy and Gerbe. thats plenty thanks. we need a big physical power froward or a goalie for when miller leaves next year.

he's their type of player. he's a good player at that spot. great offensive upside. very very very quick and good skater. what more do you want. yeah he's not big, but he's the sabres type of player. it's a good pick.

it is the sabres to draft people who can score and is small and speedy at the same time and sometimes the bigger players usually dont skate as fast  ( i think drating Ennis was a good choice although I wouldnt have thought to draft him but hey what do i know i am not a scout  and Miller is not leaving after next season quit listening to those rumors about him going to Detroit ( I know that is the rumor but it is not going to happen he will be resigned by the end of the summer along with Pomminville

Well you know I'm sure a lot of Sabres fans ask that now a days, I'm a huge Sabres fan, I live twenty minutes from Buffalo and I listened to the draft tonight. I'm not sure if there really is an answer, you know if you can get the type of small players like Roy who can produce forty goals a year then the more the Merrier!!! But you don't want to get too many big lunky players either, you don't want to end up like the western confrence. The Sabres really just need to find their own balance of speed, scoring, and toughness and we'll be where we were the past two years but better. I'm looking for this season to be one h**l of a ride. On like a little side note whoever was saying on WGR-550 tonight in '91-92 the rangers won then presidents trophy then the next year missed the playoffs, and then as we all know the next year they won the cup, so you never know.

Ennis is fine. Is he undersized yes. Could he work yeah. You gotta roill the dsice sometimes. I heard he's a Top 10 pick if he's 6' 0''. He's got talernt let's see if he can put it all together

Big is not always better but I wanted my small Ottawa team to get Myers because of his skating for his size

Down here in Flyerville (Giant Redwood Country), smallish teams like the Sabres and the Senators usually have the Flyers hitting the links in April.
