Why do the scottish, and irish fight?

i hear from lots of people that the irish and scottish fight i just want a simple explanation

When Ireland was under British control, the British imported many Scottish Protestants into Ireland to give them land and to control the Irish Catholics. When Irish independence came in 1921 Protestant Northern Ireland wanted the stay British. And there was much fighting. They are getting along much better these days.

hi, I'm as scottish as you can get , but most scottish people and irish people are interbred, its mostly ireland that fight amongst there self's, protestants and catholics that's probably what your hearing. knife crime in scotland is very high, thank god i don't live in america id b **** long time ago

As someone who is of Scottish Irish and English heritage, with a little French Canadian thrown in, I'd say they fight because they drink too much.

Why do any races fight?

Any fight between any races usually has to do with property or religion.

It's true of any fighting between any races, not only the Irish and Scottish.
