Why do the space aliens allow our governments to shoot at their spacecraft

The space Aliens love our Atari games. Especially          "space invaders" .   They ain't that keen on Battlefield Earth mind!

There are no aliens zooming through our skies.  If aliens exist, they are doing their alien thing on their alien worlds.  They cant get here.  We cannot get there.  Interstellar travel is impossible.  I suggest reading some astronomy books instead of relying on "Star Wars" for your science education.  Fewer people will smirk at you behind your back.  Since there are no aliens, no one is shooting at aliens.  QED.  Yes, some pilots have been fooled.

Perhaps I should not be so critical of your lack of scientific discernment.  You live in a very interesting universe filled with wonders no one else sees but you.  I envy you. My universe is just so boring by contrast.
