We went to Sarchi, and a storekeeper greeted our bus and put stickers on us all. Why do they do that? Do they track receipts by bus?

  1. they give you stickers so you can drink the free coffee in the store.

  2. To give your driver a commission.

depends on the setup. they probably split it up among all of them.

  3. they probably mark you as a tourist.

  4. It also helps to recognize to what group you belong, and the company that brought you guys over, so that the commission can be handled properly
