Why do the word priceless means so speciall but yet

you cant put a price on it, so do that really means it's worthless and how can something worthless means something so speacial.

the quality of being priceless is different from worthlessness, take for instance a piece of dirt on the road, its utterly worthless (it has zero value), then compare that with a human life, which is priceless (has infinite value).

No, priceless is the opposite of worthless. To be beyond the scope of money to be exact. A price is a terrible way to judge things. Something like a good memory maybe technically be "worthless," as in you can't really sell it. However its priceless considering you would never want to sell your memory of your wedding, even if it had a price.

You can't put a price on it because its so special. You (hopefully) can't put a price on you mother. Its so great/special you could not pay enough for it.

Have you ever heard the saying "you can't buy happiness"? or the beach boys song " Money can't by me love"? Money is not the best way to achieve true happiness. Therefore, when something is priceless, it can't be bought with money. Do you buy the good times you have? Your family's love? No, their love and your happiness is priceless and thereofore worth more than all the money in the world.
