  1. Many year ago the chicken processing house use to sell chicken wing for a very cheap price.A local bar owner in Buffalo N.Y started to buy them to seal to his customers as hot wing to get them to drink more It cought on across the country as a populer bar food and is now very populer all over.So I guess you couls say the chicken wing was hatched in Buffalo.

  2. I first encountered Buffalo wings around 1980, on a business trip to Batavia, NY, which is close to Buffalo. My contacts there told me about this great local specialty, chicken wings barbecued and served with BBQ sauce and blue cheese sauce. I had never heard of them before, tried them, and liked them.

Not too long after that, the word must have gotten out because I began to see them everywhere.

But they definitely do come originally from Buffalo, just as Philly cheesesteaks were once a local specialty in Philadelphia.

  3. buffalo sauce came first, then the wings.

  4. Buffalo, New York, claims to be the birthplace of buffalo wings
