  1. Buddy, that's called a rip-off.

But yeah, I get how you feel sometimes.  One hamburger isn't enough.  Perhaps, sometimes quantity is better than quality?

  2. Its a marketing name... plus, when it was released, it was considered big. Who knew that years later big would have to have more than 2 meat patties and three layers of bread....

  3. Are you kidding me?! That thing is huge! Ha ha, for me though, but my dad eats those all the time, hes like, 32. He thinks it's not enough for him, maybe it's cause he has a big appetite. Well, i think it's a rip-off though. It's still quite expensive, i remember when they had it for, "$1.00" for like a couple months, but then they changed it back to $3.99 or something?

  4. use to be bigger back in the day

  5. How are they small?!

  6. inflation

  7. Back in the day, when it was the newest thing, it was the largest sandwich that McD had.  There was a hamburger, cheeseburger, or a big mac.  The quarter pounders came along much later.  The fries were all the small size (kids size).  People did not eat as much back then as they do now.  When it originated, it was the HUGE choice.

  8. its called a RIP OFF lol its a marketing technique

i have to eat 5 just to not be hungry anymore lol

  9. A MINI MAC  ! =P

.. they should really make them for kids like the Junior Whopper from Burger King .. & yeah i know but i'm not still hungry after eating one

  13. because when it was invented, 2 patties on one burger was considered big.  but now that americans are all obese and are used to bk's 4 patties on one burger, aka a heart attack in a bag, the big mac can no longer satisfy the appetites of the fat couch potatoes that we have become.

  14. i remember when maccas first came to australia and the big mac was huge- it does seem to have shrunk over the years- but then again i hardly ever eat there

  15. Yeah! It is also expesensive, at least in NY. They do that to advertise and make people buy it.
