Question:

Why do they call mixing sodas "suicide drink"?

To be more specific, if you mix several sodas together, such as, when you are at a restaurant, and it's self-service, instead of having only one soda, you mix together all the sodas available ( or, at least a few that's available)

  4. I always thought it was because mixing the sodas together was like mixing up a poison, or at least something that would taste like poison. Therefore, drinking the poison would be like suicide.

  5. Never heard of that before. I have mixed Diet Pepsi & Diet Coke together & nothing has ever happened to me.

  6. Never heard of that, it normally applies to alcohol in the U.K.

    It's called also "Never mix the grape with the grain" I.E.

    Wine, beer. lager  and spirits. Get drunk v.quick and a v. bad hangover!

  8. I have no idea why it's called that. It's rather a morbid name isn't it? Let's rename it: The rainbow drink! Sounds much happier.
