  1. The carbonation causes the sugar to hit you quicker. If you mix it with any alcohol, it causes the alcohol to hit you quicker.

  5. I think people think it's refreshing, but I'm with you, I enjoy flat soda more than when it's carbonated ha!

  6. In a survey, most people like soda carbonated. If it wasn't it would be a sugary, flavored, well... juice. Some people can't stand soda for the main reason that they think the carbonation is any or all of the above... annoying, "spicy", or just plain Weird! My best friend is that way.

    Flat soda is basically non-carbonated soda.

    Most companies carbonate their soda because most people think it gives their beverage POP or a bit of fun in your mouth. That's why.
