  2. CUZ NOTHINGS FOR FREE N THERE GONNA CHARGE FOR THE INGREDIENTS THAT COST MONEY ...

  3. Same reason why the woman was fired for giving a timbit for free, nothing is for free! All restaurants are penny-pinchers, sorry! Cheese also does not cost as much as they charge, considering it doesn't even look like real cheese in the first place...:)

  4. Are you serious? Who says cheese should be free? It costs the restaurant money to buy the cheese, and therefore you have to pay for it. That's like asking why you should pay more for a filet than a hamburger.

  5. Well, if you want to be technical, you are ordering a cheeseburger. Therefore, because of the cheese, it costs more to make because the cheese costs the restaurant money, plus more labor. Sure, not much at all. But the labor factor is still a very small factor as well.

  6. cus that get over on people

  7. profit making.

  8. Believe it or not, cheese accounts for one of the highest food costs in a restaurant, besides meat of course.

  9. b/c they need to pay for the cheese

  10. The cheese is an additional item which costs them more money.  Cheese was never included in the base price of the hamburger.   The additional cost is being passed on to you.
