Why do they do this?

i have an LD and i go to CBI whitch stands for community based instruction when i come back frome CBI and walk into the classroom i hear people wishper why is this? why do they do this?

Unfortunately, people are like this. Most of the time it is because they are uneducated about LD and therefore do not empathize. I know it is very hard to ignore them, but just keep thinking to yourself that you are getting experiences they aren't and tell yourself how uneducated they must really be if they have to start rumors about stuff they haven't a clue about!!!

Sometimes as a teenager, you feel like everyone is talking about you when they really are not.  I hope you are having a good time at CBI.

they do this because it is human nature to "make fun" of things that they do not understand i think it helps to educate them about your particular problems. people fear what they do not understand, arm them with knowledge and the fear will go away.
