Why do they do this (redux)?

I am new to this site. Why do people who disagree with your political views think they have to add a childish insult to their question? Isn't debate what this is all about?

Because its the internet, and you can get away with it because of anonymity.

Just like you would never go up to someone's face and tell them they are childish and insulting.

But you'll post it blindly on the internet without calling people out or signing your name.
