Why do they even call it MTV anymore?

Question

It's either cheesy reality dating shows geared toward teenagers. Or reality shows about teenagers OR 'documentaries' that have nothing to do with music. And then when they have something pertaining to music (TRL) its the most contrived media controlled c**p ever and when they DO show music videos-its really early in the morning.

Do we even have a real music channel anymore of basic cable? Whats the point?

every morning MTV plays music videos on FNMTV they just dont play music during normal waking hours

That's so true. I barely watch t.v anymore everything is c**p so why bother except the news. I remember when MTV use to play video in normal t.v hours (not 4am-7am) no one's gonna put MTV that early in the morning. I think the last time i saw MTV play music videos was in the 90's.
